goal tending won't fix old and slow. Just stop the bullshit Eddie and be honest. Last place here we come. Gonna be fkn embarrassing when the Ducks and Sharks kick our ass.
Keep Kemper/Forsberg with Kings, Portillo/Lukinski with Ontario, and develop George in ECHL. See what happens closer to the trade deadline and make any adjustments then.
Our NHL goalies are like the rest of the team….good, buuuuut…….not good enough to carry your team or get you through the playoffs to the Cup……
I really think Darcy needs to be traded. He just doesn’t make any highlight reel saves. He’s solid when he’s solid but you never see him making any huge saves. You need a goalie that can bail you out once in a while. Kuemper is really not that guy. I know not many share this sentiment. Kuemper is also really old. If some team is willing to trade something, might as well take it before he’s worth nothing.
Bob n Jim both helped raise me as a kid. Their voices shaped my childhood. Bummed to see Bob go n it'll be similar when Jim is done.
We also signed two other goalies not mentioned to AHL contracts, I would say our minor league creases are full. Our goalies are gonna need to step up this year, lots of talk about our new system elevating our offense, so that will undoubtedly take away some of our defense? It seems like the rest of the team, go with the older guys, I agree we need to see what Portillo has, move Kuemper or Forsberg, Portillo as backup. Gotta for for it at some point!!
