  1. Would give Snuggerud 8 by 8 right now, and pray he takes it lol. Injuries and sophomore slumps happen all time, not saying that's likely with snuggy but can happen and getting 64 million guaranteed is hard to turn down possibly… Montreal has done this with all their stars, seen one good year and then gave them all 8 year deals and have like 5 of the 20 best contracts in nhl by taking small risk in signing them early.

Edit- Wyatt cullen was taken 10th overall alex, so not sure how there was argument and settling for Lawrence at 11, when cullen was already taken… Feltrin did like Lawrence.. And the Dagenais pick was based on his long runway and upside, belchetz is pretty physically maxed out already and doesn't have a longer runway.. You draft based on what they will be not on what they are currently.. Dagenais 6"4 himself, better skater, better shot, and actually plays physically.

  2. If you pull in to a parking spot, you still have to back up when you leave, so it’s a wash.
I will always back in to a parking space, because I’m a firefighter and I have to or my OCD starts pinging.

  3. I honestly think that they're going to go without a captain for this year to give everybody a chance to figure out who the captain needs to be within the core group.

  4. Great Show Boyz! Thomas really stepped into a real leader role after Schenn was traded…….and he stepped up his game considerably. Look what is line did at the end of the year. Thomas has won a cup, he's the Blues Best Player, and he is the Blues NEXT CAPTAIN, if not at the start of the season, but mid season. Print that! I give Snuggy 7 years/$10m. If he scores 30+ he will be looking for $12M
