St. James just said Horcoff is now running the team and not Yzerman.
What has Scott White ever done other than be a “yes man?” There’s a reason he never gets one of these jobs. No player development, no amateur or pro personnel. He’s a mgmt. type who allows Nill to still do the personnel stuff himself.
As for Horcoff, sources who say this, who have no decision making power?? He’s already running a lot of things. Good or bad.
They need a well rounded GM who’s been successful in amateur and pro personnel, but also player development. Someone like Marty Lapointe in Montreal. Or at worst, one of the best talent evaluators on the planet, Martin Madden type. An AGM in ANA.
Careful just blindly hoping for someone from a winning team. The CAR or FLA AGMs whose responsibility was the cap, does nothing for fixing this team.
