As a habs fan I always liked Karlsson. Of course he was behind Subban and Markov but growing up he was number 3.
Not defensively tho, the fact he won Norris with his defensive skills makes the trophy bit of a joke.
Being in that arena during that playoff run was amazing. Ottawa will always remember EK65. Hopefully, he comes back to finish his career here once his contract expires.

This playoff run was something special. Being on Canada's 150th anniversary it felt like the the capitals team was playing for something more then hockey there for just a minute. I'm a leafs fan and even I couldn't help but pull for this 2017 sens team

I underestimated Ottawa really hard when they faced the Bruins. I remember watching the games and Erik Karlsson was an absolute beast
Dude ask for a trade after his wife was stalked by another player’s girlfriend. Could not get out of Ottawa fast enough.
Finally someone did a breakdown of this run. Karlsson was on another level. He was legit one of the top 3 best players in the league at that time.
Every time he had the puck, anything could happen.
