  1. NHL fan at large..I lament the Quinn Hughes situation.

Guerin seems a passionate pushy guy determined to sign an elite player in Hughes. Reminds me of an earlier Wild management with the paired signings for elite players .it didn’t age well.

This is great if the players and management both committed to the outcome. Hughes though ..he already got drafted by a team that struggled mightily. Now he has a future that potentially includes playing with one or both of his brothers.

How much does this player really want to extend in a situation where he is again a much coveted commodity. You only have one career..and with this situation in Minnesota you sign and all those hopes and dreams become yours and those of countless fans and management overdue for long Cup runs. If Hughes thinks above all else this is an investment he wants above all else..then this is your time and place. Jordan Staal is a great success story with that vision. But if wanting the option to consider other options in three years is paramount..that seems a personal choice that is his to stand by.🌱🎯🏒🥅

  2. CH fan here: yes you're right it was absolutely something they used and anyone that doesn't know that doesn't know history

Silver lining of Prime Video getting more: we're one step closer to Sportsnet being left with nothing. Prime's quality is so much higher.

  3. I'll miss having Edzo on KHN, the trio dynamic with him and Forslund as the bickering old men and JT the young guy stuck in the middle was very fun. But thank you for saying Forslund and JT are great as a duo as well! Everyone at KHN really does such an amazing job. The Kraken doing all their production in-house can't be cheap but we really have one of the best broadcasts around.

  4. Prime's inroads into the NFL and NBA for the US mean the NHL isn't too far off for the US. They pull enough shenanigans with who gets what, especially playoff games and soon they'll start losing enough money to care.

  5. I used to think quinn would go to detroit with jack in a couple years but since larkin wants out yesterday and only go to a few teams makes me think luke might end up in minnesota sometime this season

  6. So if you want to catch every NHL game in Canada this season you need to pay
    $42.99/month or $324.99 for Sportsnet premium and…
$9.99/month or $99/year for Amazon prime video
    For a total of $423.99

  7. As a Devils fan I'm over the drama with the Hughes. I hope Jack wants to stay but not if it tears the rest of the team apart. Whatever or where ever Quinn signs I hope it works out great. And the Devils don't let the Hughes brothers narrative take over again.

  8. I got so frustrated with trying get playoff games. Then I discovered Yarr'matey+. Total game changer!

I'll miss Edzo, he was great on our broadcast. But I agree, it's still in good hands.

  9. The fact that the Rogers sub licensing playoff games on Prime comes out at the same time ESPN Unlimited is now integrated into YouTube TV which means the NHL Out of market games on ESPN + is free is definitely the funniest thing.
Edit: ESPN + by itself is just 12.99 a month for the NHL out of market games.

  10. Was just talking to my dad asking him if it's too soon for Montreal's real window and he said what about Washington lol. I agree they have the deepest forward group and great goalies. Montreal was so fun to watch in this past playoffs though. Now that the Canes got their cup who I have wanted for the last 4 years, I want this Montreal team to win one and eventually San Jose. I also wouldn't mind seeing Colorado and Dallas and Minnesota all win in the next handful of years!

  11. So already canceling Sportsnet+ and having prime… this is a win. Seriously going to attempt radio broadcasts if the flames offer that in some way this season since the 960 got the axe and try going the season without watching every game. Good luck to me
