2. Sorry Jesse. In my opinion, we are certainly not in a rebuild anymore. We are playoff contender status now. We literally just played 5 games in the ECF. It is very safe to say that The Rebuild is over. We’re playoff contenders looking to only have a short stint with that title before we’re bonafide perennial Cup Contenders.

5. Habs fans, please relax and don't get your hopes up over Marchenko. He will likely not get traded and if he does it will likely be to Utah which has excellent trade assets to dangle.

6. We are not playoff bound next season, it will be a step backward, We don't have the roster to be perennial contenders. Montreal overachieved with the help of lady luck last year. Montreal has a lot of holes left to fill and there is nobody that can fill them in the Farm team , the farm team is very lean on talent !!!! The forwards will be the same and the defense will be the same………..but the other teams they all got better!!! SO, no playoffs for Montreal this year. Frankly they need to get rid of their veterans for picks and then tank this season and the next and get a bunch of good draft picks again just like the American teams do!!!……..

7. I would not worry about these rankings. I only worry about them moving toward the Stanley Cup, regardless what various outsiders say….Also, trade rumors are really silly, in my opinion. There are better things to talk about. We are going to move forward without Marchenko, and who knows, if we do make the trade maybe it will prove to be a mistake. There is no guarantee that a trade will solve the problems, and the kind of trade that is being discussed might solve one problem while creating another (e.g., what if Reinbacher and Ghule are in the trade, what does defense look like).

8. Caulfield would have hit 50 goals sooner, but MSL encouraged him to become a more complete player who is also defensively responsible and let the goals come later. He succeeded! We now have one of the best pure goal scorers who is not a liability defensively. Keep the faith and Go Habs Go!

9. FIX! the damn D ! for DEFENCE! Offence good; growing; Dobes the goalie going ahead BUT ! Habs were # 18 in GOALs Against! MUST FIX better!

13. When Marty learns the value of utilizing the teams legitimate tough players, maybe he moves up. For two straight play-off years he was outcoached when it counted.

18. Well, it couldn’t be more obvious that Sean Farrell will not make this team because of his size. So that’s a solid by management being straight up and telling the guy and letting him go somewhere else where he’s gonna have a better opportunity to make the NHL well done management.
