I'm fine with Cat staying long term if he wants to stay in Detroit. That was my only question, is if he is committed to the team despite the current chaos. He will be a consistently solid piece to build around. Picking between he and Seider for the C is tough.

Arvy was already brought in as Kane's replacement. I'd prefer they sign Bunting over Tolvanen, but I'm fine with adding either one to the bottom six left side. The only question is if they sign either of them then how do they move Rasmussen with his contract? And if Debrincat wants to stay, then $12 x 6 would be a great contract. With the rising cap, his market value is probably $13-$14 million but with term maybe he would take less

Eeli Tolvanen is still unsigned. Yzerman was (allegedly) talking to him prior to his resignation-or-firing… you know, whatever it was. On ADB, pay the guy.
Good news and no surprise that D-cat stays. Not everyone is like the D-boss haha. But why everybody ties him to Kane? He is from the area, he loves the club, he came here BEFORE Kane did. Why should he follow him to Chicago?Big family, great house, lifelong passion for the club.
