With Harris you have to thinks along the lines of Louis Crevier, This dependable shutdown D that can be a real force on the blue line. He was touted was one of the top Defensive-D man in the O and when Chase Reid was injured Harris stepped up and played his role as the fill in admirably. He is rough but the skill is there and if he can be a future 7th D or a player that can be put on the ice and just do what is asked of him in the simplest of senses then he will be fine

Excellent analysis. Over time I've really come to respect and trust your opinion of players. I like our draft, at least on paper. Time will tell how these guys turn out. My fear with Lagerberg is that he's another Robi Jarventie. But I do believe in Jonas more than I did in Robi at the time of his draft… Especially since when we drafted Jarventie I was POUNDING my table, screaming, "JJ Peterka! JJ Peterka!"
Sens drafting has been such a sore spot since the 2020 class. Such a breath of fresh air to have them actually drafting for upside over “projectable floors”.
Lagerberg Hoen and Cover are the types of swings I wanna see from a team drafting in the late 1st. Bet on a guy who missed most of the year due to injury but was unreal when he did play, and the guy who’s only been on ice for a few years.
The only pick I really didn’t like was Elliot, and that’s just because there were way more goalies I liked in that range.
