5. I do not live in the past, learn from it, and I move on, As for the Marner thing, Its his life, I have not thought about him since he left, I focus on who is now on the team, and cheer for them.

7. I’m sorry, but hearing a multi-millionaire complain about being “hard done by” financially is just absurd. Guy is completely out of touch with reality.

   Marner and Matthews basically put a stranglehold on this team by taking up such a massive chunk of the salary cap. It limits what the team can build around you, and we saw that play out.

   All this comes across as caring more about squeezing out every last dollar than about competing for a championship. Where is the hunger to win?

   And let’s be honest: there is no meaningful difference in lifestyle between earning 100 million and 120 million. You, your kids, and your kids’ kids are set for life either way. That extra amount does not change anything except how it looks on paper.

   At some point, it just feels selfish. Less about legacy, more about ego. Just pre-Madonnas thinking about the paycheck instead of the banner.

8. Mariner’s agent needs to shut his yap. Why can’t Marner say he was part of leadership on the Leafs and for whatever reason in games 5 to 7 I (we) just didn’t get it done and that was very unfortunate. And be done.

27. im so fkng glad that whiney little weasly loser didnt win the cup. He was gearing up to absolutely dump on the city and fanbase of Toronto with his stupid little "Ill talk about it if we win". Then they lost and he had to backtrack and blame "mental health". hahahaha the guy is a weasle in the purest form
