3. I am a Oilers fan and I disagree with what the oilers did here. Commie is allowed to have a opinion. Babcock is a controversial person the Oilers knew this when they hired him. Instead of sending out cease and desist orders they should just be the bigger men and say we believe in our coach and our decision and leave it at that. The threat of using the courts over a social media opinion post is ridiculous.

13. Enough Already, Mike Commodore

    Mike Commodore has every right to criticize Mike Babcock. He made his case years ago.

    But enough is enough.

    At this point, the nonstop attacks look less like accountability and more like an obsession. Babcock is back coaching in the NHL because an organization looked at his record, weighed the criticism, and decided he deserved another chance.

    Commodore's hockey career was respectable. Yet he now seems determined to make attacking Mike Babcock his life's work. That's a sad legacy.

    You've made your point. Everyone has heard it. Constantly rehashing the same grievance doesn't strengthen your argument—it weakens it.

    Move on. Let hockey be about hockey.

19. I have to wonder if maybe it was partially Yzerman's decision to step down. I bet the grumbling from the fan base boiled over when another disappointing season transitioned into the Larkin debacle and I wonder if he just read the room.
    Also, if you're going to bring up politics, it should've been "Don't Puck It Up… AGAIN" to Carney -> he campaigned on being the Trump whisperer and has only succeeded on screwing up every single opportunity to get a trade deal done. Every other major trading partner of the U.S. are getting deals nailed down, and our clowns weren't even showing up to the CUSMA meetings half the time…

22. Heys guys, 1st time listener, I loved the show. And have subscribed. I will say though that I am pulling for the Oilers success and I think they needed hard ass coach. As for Avery, you have to get him on, like Barnaby he is an awesome guest. It’s funny cause they both seem like awesome dudes that truly should be friends lol. It’s weird!
