    Maybe Jets throw in a bottom 6 guy for contracts Chibrikov,Nino,Vlad.

  3. The reality is Helly is 33 and is now a diminishing asset. From a purely business perspective it makes perfect sense to trade him now while his value is high and get younger in the process.

  4. Anyone getting Helly is getting a Vézina gold-medal Hall of Famer. Chevy needs to pull off PLD 2.0 😮 if he goes to SJ would you want Askarov or Nedelkovic in return?

  6. Get more assets from the Helli trade if it’s Buffalo Helli Demand in return is top 5 pick and two prospects or Roster players who ad Value I don’t want Josh Norris that guy is a bum and injuries all the time

  7. Heres how i see it. Jets overplayed their hand before draft day. The reality is that hes getting older, sure he still has potential to give you a few years, but what gonna happen is his value will continue to decrease, add to that you dont want someone who doesnt wanna be there in your locker room, itll spread like a disease. When that happens and you HAVE to move him, im getting 60 cents on the dollar then. We'll see if im right. Its an "who blinks first" situation. For Buffalo is a "want" not a "need".. for the jets i think itll turn into a "need" to move him, which benefits the buyer on Helly not the seller.

  9. Jarmo won’t move Helenius, Doan, Benson, Thompson or any of the roster D.
    A goalie would have to coming back, reports are post July 1 UPL has Winnipeg on his 5 team no trade list.

    While the Sabres and Jets may have talked close to a deal around draft day, I just don’t see it now.

  10. Dude trade helly for a first a prospect or two firsts and two established players a d and c or w. Longer you keep him the more his stock is dropping the jets gotta put a strong d in front of him which they haven't in years since the Vegas West final years ago.

Should just keep helly he should remain valuable throughout his contract I can’t see his play declining too much he’s not an athletic type goalie he’s a positional goalie so no need to worry about his age as much him and skinner will be a great tandem for the jets. Helly can get us to playoffs and skinner can get us deeper than helly
