1. If McKenna puts up 70 points he will be elite before he hits 20 yrs old

2. I’m projecting Gavin to be a little under or a little over 60 points. If he somehow gets 70 or more points, that would be beyond anyone’s expectations, and no doubt a great thing for him and the club.

4. If the Leafs as a team, play to their potential "CONSISTENTLY" this coming season, than McKenna will be successful in his 1st NHL campaign! IMO.

5. I actually think McKenna arriving will help Cowan out too because it will take osme of the pressure off him to be the next guy

Well there's Center, AM(C/LW), JT(C/LW), sisson(C/RW) Roslovic(C/RW) nylander(C/RW) lorrentz(C/LW) Paul (C/LW) then LEFT WING for LEFT handers, AM, JT, knies ,Cowan,Joshua, Paul, Lorrentz, Mckenna, then theres RIGHT WING. thats for RIGHT handers. leafs were weak why they loaded up. Nylander, Roslovic, sissons, MacEwen are only RH, RW leafs have. SOME LW/LH's can play Rw EFFECTIVE yes like COWAN, duhimme. there IS a world where mckenna CAN play on line on 1..click "more" for MY Projected lines..

    they COULD put (LW)mckenna line 1, but taking OFF (LW)knies which now requires "a dog" on the RW, that would be Cowan(LW/RW) or (C/RW)Sissons. So mckenna-AM-Sissons ( or cowan on RW )
    then line 2..knies(LW) to line to as your "dog" with Roslovic(C/RW) as center and Nylander (RW/C) as your sniper then for line 3. cowan or sisons(RW/LW) on right as he can play either wing as "your Dog"
    centered by (C/LW)tavares and then who do you on your left wing? several options leafs have..Joshua(LW), Lorrentz(C/LW),..blueger(LW)(pick 1 as all 3 are LW) leaving the the other 2 to play line 4 with paul
    finally..line 4,,Pual(Lw/C) at center is a given and have any of.Lorrentz(C/lw), blueger(LW), as your Left and Rw's (mentioned aboved )

    leaving 2 healthy scratches. most likely MacEwen and duhimme scratched. ( as they are not very good )

    however i do not that to be the leafs lines AT ALL. here is MY projected maple leafs line up for this upcomming season…

    line 1. knies-Mathews-Roslovic – i think mathews want knies on his left side as mathews not only likes "dogs" on the team,but BOTH him and knies grew up an were raised and trained in scottsdale, Arizona
    note on Roslovic : During his final season with Columbus in 2023-2024, he primarily skated on the team's top line as the right wing alongside Johnny Gaudreau (left wing) and Boone Jenner (center)
    line 2 Cowan-Sissons-Nylander – having 2 dogs on line 2 gives nylander all kinds of chances to run up 40 goal like he does every year with Leon drastl, Aswell takes alot of pressure off mathews and line 1

    line 3. Joshua-Tavares-lorrentz(off wing),At 35 yrs old i believe leafs will be moving JT out of the top 6 and less of a role in the bottem 6 with veteran leadership. mckenna(Lw) possibily play line 3 with JT(C)
    line 4. Mckenna-Paul-blueger ( off wing ), this gives mckenna alot of protection on his line at all times and limited minites as he adapts to a new atmospehe, u want him to be in the show not star it an get hurt

    line 1 Raddysh(RD)reilly(LD) as i dont think mcCabe(LD) or O.E.L(LD) can handle that role and minutes, however Reilly CAN. also Raddysh is really solid and will improve reilly overall aswell. reilly trains hard.

    mckenna: needs 1-2 years to be elite status but as he had scouts watching him from 14 years old..thats very rare. even mcdavid wasnt noticed until he was 15 years old.

12. I think McKenna’s is better than Bedard. If Bedard can get 61 points in 69 games in his rookie year by playing with a bunch of nobody’s, then I think a point a game on a team that has Matthews and Nylander is entirely possible for McKenna.

I’d love to see McKenna and Cowan become an elite pairing, like a Selene and Kariya type of thing where they get popular and successful together as linemates outside of personal success of course. I think McKenna being here actually helps Cowan a lot as he has another young big named talent with him now to take some weight off and where they can learn, adjust and thrive together as youngsters. Atlantic is scary good but if they all can gel and be on the same page here, this Toronto roster can really do some damage and be dangerous. Let’s hope Leafs fans that this is the beginning of some great hockey now coming out of Toronto and we can change some narratives associated with Leafs hockey.

17. Will Gavin Mckenna be better than Auston Matthews, Marner, Nylander, and Tavares.
