  1. Are any of our US college goalies going to make the jump to Laval tis season? I have not heard of any of them signing yet. There are a bunch of them there an i suspect a few will be ready next year if not this year.

  2. Just a note there boys , RANTing ON about how cheaply these Habs players are signed for is not doing any good for their EGOs. Get over it.
This is probably the key reason why Gorton and Hughes 'did not' go out and get an 'over priced' Forward replacement.

  3. Habs need to double their shot output from their playoff performance. Still waiting for personnel changes that will achieve this goal.

  4. The only reason that Tippett is still in the rumors is because every team wants him, and for good reason, he is incredible… he'll probably be traded at some point because Martone and Michkov are untouchable, Koneckny has a no-movement clause and Foerster, (who is as good as Owen), is coming back from an injury… so, since its value is currently very low, it's very unlikely we'll trade him. Also, I heard you're looking for someone to play on the power play, so you're not looking for the right person, That's not his strength; most of his goals are scored with equal strength. That's why we love him so much in Philadelphia; very few players can score that much at equal strength, it's something invaluable. Dany will only trade him for a top-line center or a young player with the potential to become one, so if you want him, you know exactly who we'll ask. The ball is in your court.

  5. It worries me that the great contracts may make it hard to acquire a $10M+ asset and not have internal tension. Also, renewing all those contracts may prove difficult. So, we have to be capable of winning in the next few years so we don’t run out of runway.

  6. Can you imagine if we took Ryan Leonard (#8 overall) instead of David Reinbacher (#5 overall) how much of a insane team we would have been. Leonard was my pick back in 2023. I think too much about this lol.
