Edmonton Oilers Trade Targets Update: Rickard Rakell and Jake Debrusk | Penguins + Canucks Rumors

1. Are we Finally gonna get some more toughness… Because this team lacks it and needs it to win a cup….

5. No interest in either, go for an impact player at the deadline let Savoie and Howard play to see what we have and build up value

6. I'm not a fan of a Debrusk trade. Out of the two, I'd rather go with Rakell, but he doesn't excite me either.

7. Hard no on DeBrusk. He stifles the growth of Savoie, clashes with tough coaches, and we also don’t need to walk on eggshells with his daddy covering games.

8. The only trades they should be doing is dumping guys like Stasney, Mukamadhulin, Emberson, Janmark for whatever picks they can get to stock the cupboards in the future. Too many low value depth guys that don’t really add much depth. The only guy they really need is Giroux. More points per hour, top face-off guy and some grit! Probably don’t have to pay him much. Hopefully Philly blows all there money on stupid moves and Giroux kicks lose!

9. DeBrusk would most likely prosper in Edmonton. He’s excellent on the power play. Canucks need picks/prospects or youngsters. I do think that he will go elsewhere and Oilers will be outbid.

12. Like to see Connor Clattenburg back in the lineup for his toughness, grit and fighting abilities. He deserves it from his performance last year
