Love the signing, I feel like Drysdale has 15-25 more points in him and it's a really nice cap hit. Like Zegras would've liked to see more term but that's not terrible.
The TRYERS !!! Do Nothing Danny Still Doing Nothing !!! TRY HARDER TRYERS !!! KEEP TRYING !!! PHUCKIN TRYERS !!!
Soft and squishy Flyers. Gonna get beat up this year again.
In a perfect world 3β4 of Bonk, Jirichek, Maksim, Carter Amico, Gill, or Liske have a season or two under their belt and are pushing Drysdale and York out the door.
STEVE!!!
Great break down boys, I'm happy with this… Jamie is better anyways
Yo I want that tee shirt
So with Zegras and Drysdale under contract, there is still approximately $13M-$14M left to spend or absorb in contracts/trades. One big Flyers contracts (Sean Couturier) expires in 2030 and that will put another $7.5M in the bank with another $16M in cap raises… There should be plenty of $$$ to spread around for Martone, Jiricek, and whoever steps up to the plate…
The Flyers signed Ziegras HALF of what they offered Carlson which is embarrassing. Ziegras and Carson both had 67 points last season but Ziegras was the more valuable player because his shootout skills got the Flyers in the playoffs. Briere's overall draft picks are not great.
