  1. I'm sure the GM of the Year winner will totally make this work out. He'd certainly do a better job than that pesky Eastern Conference GM he traded Stankoven to for an overpaid Finn.

  2. I'm torn about these massive contracts. I want these guys to make money. Especially the guys putting up big numbers and putting asses in seats. The guys doing the work deserve that money far more than the PoS greedy owners. But at the same time, there's an element of making so much money, that your a detriment to your team. That you're taking money out of cap that can make you and your team better. Idk. You're there to make as much as you can, in the limited years that you have. And I can't blame guys getting what they deserve. I just think there's a balance between that, and being a team guy. I hate that the sport has to be a business sometimes… but, bottom line, it is what it is. A business

  3. After what Leo just got, if JRob wants the money, go to July 1st and keep the door open for Dallas. He will be the best forward option a year ahead of Brady, AM34, Davo. The only other 2027 guys that could get the Brinks truck on the market are Quinn and Cale. Both are defensemen.

  4. Dallasโ€™ biggest strength in this situation is the fact that Tyler Seguinโ€™s 9.85 million dollar contract comes off the books in a year. That plus the cap going up again gives Dallas a significant boost when it comes to cap flexibility next offseason.
