Find me a clip where Helly requested to be traded, and I’ll believe you. Not denying or commenting on a rumours, is not the implying you agree with it. Most public figures do not comment on rumours about them. Commenting on a rumour, is just adding fuel to the fire.
Dominik Hasek forced Buffalos hand years ago into a trade to Detroit and told them that he was going to keep squashing the deal if Buffalo attempted to weaken the RedWings current and near future team.
So if arguably the best goalie ever can force a trade for spare parts, Winnipeg doesn’t have a leg to stand on here.
