   That’s just not true. You’re forgetting about an important situation that is not tracked like PP and PK time, but Krebs is always on the ice at the end of 1 goal leads to play the 6 on 5 when the other team pulls the goalie. He was called upon to preserve leads and go win games, and he actually excelled at it with 5 empty net goals. Give the man some credit, he’s more versatile than just an even strength guy.

8. You regret not signing Tuch for $10m a year for 8 years? Check that out in years 5 to 8. You would take 3 younger players instead of that.

9. I do enjoy watching SneakyJoe when he has to talk about Krebs. It's clear he hasn't liked him for years, and it's "fun" to watch Joe purse his mouth and see the look on his face. It's not about Joe in general, it's just when he talks "Krebsy." Challenging management is always a good thing for a journalist. Who knows, maybe Krebsy will get traded now the contract is done.

10. Let's be clear. Tuch was either injured during the Montreal series (he's had a history of shoulder injuries) or he gave up on the Sabres knowing he was going to leave after the season. Either way Tuch is not worth no 10 mil X 8 especially the 8 years. To me it's obvious he is slowing down from injuries etc.

    Also, Malenstein isn’t just a nobody. One of the fastest guys in the League period. One of the reasons we got to the Playoffs! Sabres signing him like they did proves that.

    Krebs, no interest but what they did was make him a tradable asset. Carrick is your best Faceoff guy.

19. I said a month ago: "Byrum, Power, Norris + 1st (or maybe Kulich/Ostlund IF necessary but preferably Zucker/Greenway for Edvinsson/Larkin from Detroit. The Sabres had ALL of the leverage over Detroit, and Stevy Y has ALL of the leverage over Larkin. A good GM could of gotten that deal done. That was a match made in heaven for both teams. Detroit could of gotten a haul, and that was the best deal for BUF given the cap situation. The Sabres needed a cap dump, and Detroit needed assets. Buffalo could of resigned Tuch and you top line would have been: Tuch – Thompson – Larkin, and if they picked up Kane the second line could have been Kane – Hellenius – Doan… Plenty of cap to sign Krebs, Lord 🙏 K-Ring, Benson, etc. MRTKA could of been expedited to fill the gap in the defense but they could of just maintained Timmins + Metsa for depth. But no, no, no… This 'know-it-all' fanbase shot that one down. Let's let a guaranteed 30+ a year goal scorer who leads the penalty kill walk for nothing. Yeah, that's f-ing brilliant. 👏 👏 👏 Nice job Sabrehood 👍 I mean who wants a top line of Tuch – Thompson – Larkin? Now, if Norris gets injured and/or Kulich doesn't produce this team might not even make the playoffs. Thats why we were screaming about this cap situation 2 months ago… We could see his thing coming, but this fanbase has no foresight, can't do basic math, doesn't do any research. The team is already depleted and now the fanhood wants to deplete what's left of it on a 33 year old goalie, with worse numbers than the current goalies on the roster, who's coming off of 'arthriscopic knee surgery' and has a 8+ mil cap hit to boot. It's just unreal. It's no wonder this town never wins any championships 🏆 👍 🏒 💯 ⚔️
