  1. The whole thing about drafting a goalie and everyone is saying its great that we got Swaymans replacement is that isnt MacAvoy older? Wheres not just his replacement but a guy for the second pairing? Weve drafted more goalies in the last 5 years then RD. I dont want to hear anything about Borgen and Clifton, they are just stop gaps.

  2. When the Bruins were negotiating with the NYRs for Borgen, did they also inquire about Schneider? Supposedly, he's been available for months. He's 5 years younger than Borgen which could help them bridge the Pasta/McAvoy and Hagens/Letourneau eras. Why not go in that direction? Was the asking price too high? Did they think Borgen was better than Schneider? Were the B's concerned about Schneider's next contract?
