An October return seems very optimistic. He's a nice kid and I wish him a speedy recovery
Bedard's body is probably still developing. He will get stronger as he ages and, hopefully, will be fine. But don't rush him back.
It doesnt matter. He will get hurt again and again and again
Nobody knows what kind of surgery. Maybe arthoscopic? And they don't ware shoulder pads during training on your under your own time. I really hope he walks to Vancouver. High picks. Guy burns himself out. Falls down and needs surgery. No hits. Barely skating. Paper tiger.
Had his jaw wired shut & both shoulders surgically repaired before his 21st birthday. People are trying to call these fluky injuries, but he must be considered injury prone until he proves he can stay on the ice.
October is likely IMO.
Young people like Bedard are supposed to heal faster than older players, so maybe he can come back sooner than expected. But it's his shoulder, so there will be factors like range of motion and strength.
"Worse than a shoulder"!? For a passing, shooting hockey player?! What's worse?
NFL players with a torn labrum often miss 2 to 4 weeks if they rest to let initial inflammation subside, though many miss zero games by opting to play through it with a protective shoulder harness or brace. If surgery is required mid-season, the player is usually out for 4 to 6 months. [ Xaviuer Worthy ]
No to Patrick Kane. The Blackhawks have a lot of good talent coming up. Give someone else a shot.
6 months usually. Hes being hopeful.
They don’t do both shoulders cause your in a brace u can only use your other hand u wouldn’t even be able to eat, shower, take a piss If u did both at the same time
