Identifying how GOOD Sabres are right now | The Jeremy and Joe Show

1. I think the Sabres will win the presidents trophy this year. They earned 83 points over their last 53 games last year. That’s a 128 point 82 games pace. I have full confidence all the young guys are gonna step up.

2. If the Sabres last year weren’t good enough to win the cup then that means you only think 5 teams were good enough to win the cup lol that’s ridiculous.

3. I think Norris will play a full season his shoulder is fine, he didn’t miss time from the previous shoulder surgeries, he had some goofy other stuff going on, he played all the playoff games except 2 because he was cracked in the face.

4. I think we still need more firepower on the power play. A power play that scores even 20 percent more and the tough teams will have to skate just to keep up.

5. Id exspect Power to have an actual breakout season , without Byram on his pairing Owen should be able to pick up all those points Bo was getting . I still hate that Bo was traded cause him and Power were becomming a hell of a duo .

6. Also , Norris will be hurt within the first 25 games , i truly think if they can get their goaltending issue better they are gonna go deep into the Playoffs

7. It's not going to get any easier in our div. Jarmo still has moves to make.

8. 🖕🏼WGR your Sabres coverage sucks, these guys are terrible. Our General manager seems to think we've got the right formula. Our coach seems to think he can make it with this group. And here we have these scrubs who sit on their asses all day flapping their grease holes talking crap about our team. 🖕🏼🖕🏼WGR I want something different.

9. Florida has a lot of new pieces and let a lot go too. So that team can be different man. Every year every team is different. I hate that we always project on the past.

10. if Hellenus gets 85pts and our goaltending is better in the playoffs than ya we can win the cup if you ask me

11. Helenius isn't going to be an 80 point player this season. Maybe 2 years from now.

12. lol waaaay too many unknowns and what ifs with this team now. kids literally have to breakout, but you can't teach grit and toughness…which most of these players lack…and that makes all the difference in the playoffs against fl and or tampa.

13. Let's just crown Florida Stanley Cup Champions now and get it over with. Who needs to actually play the games, Florida is a superteam, apparently, and no one's capable of beating them.

    Buffalo does not have to worry about bullies. They faced a team that wanted to pound them through the boards this past season, and they handled it well. Meanwhile, Montreal didn't try to bully Buffalo and the Sabres didn't handle it well. They have to worry about non-bullies first and foremost. They've gotta figure out how to beat the Habs and their ilk. If a Florida comes along, you deal with it by hitting them on the scoreboard.

14. If we had Dobeš, we would have won the cup. I honestly believe that.

15. Not fair to even ask if they were good enough to win a cup . It was the first time they made the playoffs in over a decade. Come on Joe .

16. We’re relying on rookies to make up Tuch’s production. We’re relying on Zellweger to replace Byram’s time and our goalies are still the same. No we are not better especially looking at the rest of the conference loading up on talent

17. The Sabres have regressed. Relying on young players in Ostlund and Helenius to fill the void of Tuch is not smart, its mismanagement. Neither player have had a full 82 games combined.
    Stop relying on Kulich, we dont even know if his body is NHL ready. He most likely will start in Rochester.
    On defense they regressed as well. How are we certain Crevier, or Zellweger fits on this team? How do we know Zellweger will mesh with Power??
    Can we rely on UPL and Lyon playing like they did last season. Looking at history UPL will regress, evey good year is followed by a bad one.
    Injuries will happen and im not sure this team can handle it.
    Go get Hellebuyck, he will raise the floor of this team massively.
    If you want to replace Tuch, trade for DeBrincat from Detroit.
    Kane is good but not on those two's level

18. lol powerless took huge steps. Are you kidding me? Did you even watch that guy play continues to not take the man still waved his stick at people like he's try to cast the spell and half the time it looks like he's lost.

19. Sabres should trade their first rounder in next year's June draft to Philly for Rasmus Ristolainen.
