The Game Is Afoot
If Haden is such a valued asset, why did Utah sign him for just one year?
Everyone forgets that people believed this team was league average goaltending away from making a serious run after that Rangers series. Fitz fumbled massively going into the following year without upgrading the goaltending and sitting on his hands when the team was sinking. If they go back to playing their high octane rush game and get league average goaltending, and I believe you can get league average goaltending from Allen/Dawes, they can get back on track. I am eagerly waiting what Sunny decides to do now that the offer sheet got matched. He's gonna use that cap space and the team is heavy on middle six guys now.
That sst person is and always has been a deebag. Just go away.
I don't mind it toooooo much so far but i do find it slightly odd our biggest need was a top 6 winger and a goalie. And we used our top assets on other things (future picks and a future 3C). Then we tried to trade and then used an offer sheet for a 3C, which in nature can have pros and cons. So its just odd how we seemed to have very good assets to make something happen and we went in a completely different direction. Not too too wories just yet, just an observation and hopefully our goalies gamble will pay off cause that's what im the most unsure thing
