Two big fish remain on the table for the Pittsburgh Penguins. Would it be better for them to try and trade for Dallas Stars winger Jason Robertson? Or to sign Connor Bedard to a historic offer sheet?

Bedard would be the best option.. that’s my opinion
I don't think Pens are at the point where they should be giving up 4 1st rounders. Not sure I'm even for giving 1st for Robertson and a vet, and/or prospects….Hate a deal that includes Kindel or Sergei Murashov….not as opposed to Horcoff since he might finish college before even coming to AHL…..But still lean towards keeping him
Penguins need centres not more wingers
Robertson wants to stay in Dallas.
Neither!!!!! Go offer sheet or call the Blue Jackets to do a sign and trade for Fantilli! Go for him.
Be fun for someone to offer Bedard 18 million.
Chicago would have $30 million tied to two players and instant problems with signing all their other young players
Why do we act like the pens first-round picks or priceless. No first round pick is a guaranteed star unless you're picking top three most of years so the pens aren't picking in top three which they haven't in almost two decades, I wouldn't be opposed to getting rid of them to get a superstar in here..
Hughes went for the equivalent of 4 firsts. Buium, Ohgren and Rossi (top 10 pick) were recent first rounders and the Wild sent their 2026 first too. This is the going rate for a superstar Norris winner.
If you want a superstar to replacement for Sid, the team either tanks or goes big for either of these guys. Bedard makes more sense since he's younger and has a higher ceiling imo.
Another ridiculously stupid topic. Y’all used to make good content. Sad it’s gone the direction fairytale offer sheet scenarios.
Neither. Too high a price to aquire and keep. At this point, need to keep building. I like finding reclamation projects and disgruntled players. I read where Carolina is making LD Nikishin available for trade as he's unhappy with his role. The catch is, the trade must include Kotkaniemi who has 4 more years at 4.8 million. Both players are early to mid twenties, are huge areas of need for the Pens and could be had for a reasonable price. Hard hitting LD and a young center with 1st round pedigree. If Im Dubas, Im all over that. Carolina reportedly wants defensive upgrade and bottom six forward. I'd offer Brazeau, Karlsson and a 1st give or take.
Bedard would be the way to go they need to fill Sid’s shoes after he hangs them up
I'd offer sheet and give up 4 first rounders for Celebrini, but I don't think I'd do it for Bedard. Between these two though if I had to choose one, I would rather put assets into getting Bedard. Something to me just is cautious about Robertson. Sure, he's talented, but I don't know if he is worth what his camp thinks he is.
they are not getting either one of these guys
What would you have to offer Bedard in cap hit to get Bedard? 22 million?
offer sheet bedard. no assets lost other than draft picks. the reality is that four 1st round picks sitting in the 20's is a 50/50 shot. I would rather have them go after bedard or fantilli.
I've been saying that they should offer sheet Bedard since the end of the season came and Chicago didn't have him re-signed…allowing him to be exposed as an RFA…
