Nurse was a great D man before he got his massive contract…. and after the massive contract he got, he turned into a bum…. now that hes gone from Edmonton he will get that chip on his shoulder again and be a top level D man in San Jose.
The team looks good, we don't really need a new forward atm. Goaltending looks better. I am a bit skeptical about the D-core but we have cap space to fix it should it become a problem. Let's keep our cool for now

Walman was as big a problem as Nurse last yr… but for some reason he slides under the radar… at $7mil shea/makmad seem ok.. but emberson was ok stastney is not nhl level so that $1.5m is nclear…. seem too many low level D? definitely too many low level Goalies Anderson is 37 w .874 sv% last yr… Jarry .858 & best was Ingram .899 but he is shipped out w jCampbell still getting $2.6m. so Goal is a problem !! RNH is no longer top6… 9even strength goals.. -9….. so weak there.. And a bunch of weak fwds signed; Janmark, Frederic(-15 $3.4m) etc etc so not a lot of snipers or scorers really….. Babsy has a lot of work to get these playing better (Walman key).
