They get a lot of cap space this season but not much the next 3 seasons. It’s going to be hard to fill in Suter’s minutes. I remember the day they signed as the one time where St. Louis didn’t have fire works due to a long drought.

Suter is exactly the type of seasoned veteran that Pittsburgh needs on the NO.1 d -line. If Mario & co can't give long term deal to real grinders. This Suter deal would be perfect for the Pens to make a run or two. That and name DeSmith the starter. Suter is exactly what Pitt needs.
