Mtl should be looking at IMPACT players not more 3rd or 4th line players we already have a while system of those that areecheaper options.
Percentage of the cap is now a better measure of a salary rather than the absolute value. 5 million is not a huge cap hit.

Personally, I am not opposed to trading Guhle if we think he is too fragile (can't have a top 4 that's always on the injury list). Otherwise, I would move away from Matheson and insert Guhle in the top 4. I don't think we need Matheson offensive anymore especially if we fill the gap in our top 6 forward by including him in a trade and his turn over were too insane in the playoff. Then replace Carrier by a D with more physicality. I like carrier, he's reliable but he has no offensive upside and not physical enough.
