Fun name for the announcer's, Muk Hamadoooolin!
To me, those are good numbers for a young defenseman. Size, goals/shot and minutes played stand out. Not many assist is concerning with regards to moving the puck. Most likely 3rd pairing playing with 3rd and 4th line forwards with reduced opportunity as a consequence. Oilers have been targeting puck moving defensemen in the McDavid era.
I don't remember this player. Excited for sure to see what he brings to the oilers lineup.
I do find it funny how we have 3 former shark defenders now. Hopefully he pushes Emberson for 6-7 spot. Shea makes sense as 4-5. Good depth with players in the right spots to succeed. Sitting much better this year then same time last year.
We need younger good defensemen to grow with this organization for the future of this team
