As a Wild fan I am absolutely thrilled at the potential future D core. Buium, Faber, Chisholm, Spurgeon, Brodin, Middleton and now Jiricek. The Wild will be picking hopefully late 1st round so it worth the price.

If we are going to trade assets, we need a top end center. Not a top end defenseman. We already have a log jam at defense and with Bonk coming in the next year or two our defense isn't where our need is. Besides all of that, you're spot on because giving up everything Minnesota did for Jirack would have been a bad move by Danny
