blues are a for profit only ..tom turnstiles shillman and his good ole boys club of clowns
There are two ways to answer the title question. Are they better now then last year, objectively no. Will they be better in the future once the new guys settle in and we have new guys mature, yes. It wouldn't surprise me at all if we started off really bad and competed for a playoff spot in the end again. This time I think we will actually make it to the other side of the exclusion line.
It seems the Blues tried to change the team identity. They’ve improved if the identity sticks. Mctavish, Mcmichael, Colton, Carlo. Size and sandpaper. “Blues hockey” is back. Let’s gooo.
Time will tell, but you're out from under the Kyrou cloud of will he / won't he be traded for another season. That alone is an improvement. We have an over abundance on the wing and just like last season if things go south and we haven't improved – Steen can trade them off for asset picks (Bjugstad, Faulk, Schenn)
You guys are way too low on Mctavish, what bourque did this year is his ceiling and still has less points per game than Mctavish and this was mctavish's floor, as his previous years were better…. Mctavish has amazing hands and shot, goes to net, and was taken 3rd overall for a reason. Mctavish had 52 points and 22 goals just a season ago in 74 games, the contract hold out/new coach, and missing some of training camp think affected his season and he still as i said had more production than Bourques career year. I love the move and blues fan will too when they see him play this year.
Donny Fandango might be one of the greatest media names of all time
Imagine in 5 years when we have Thomas, Dvorsky, Lawrence, McTavish down the middle in their prime.
Donny Ringo…….The BEVO SLUGGER Suck! LMAO
Everyone wanted to like Jordan. I actually do, even if he wasn't fitting here for various reasons. You see this is sports and even professional circles all the time: talent is talent, but doesn't always mesh with the environment. Wish him well, as we all did with Osh.
Well done blues. Plugged alot of holes
VERY HAPPY OLD SCHOOL 50YO FAN HERE!!! WE NEEDED AN ENFORCER SINCE REAVES LEFT AND WE GOT A GOOD ONE!!! ROSS JOHNSTON FIGHTS ON YOUTUBE ARE AWESOME TO WATCH!!! LGB!!!
They now have more assets to make a deal for someone like Nikishin from Carolina. Just imagine a 4th line where each guy is 6'5" and at least 225 out there causing havoc.
I believe the best guy we got out of the draft is our dark horse at #139😎🔥grit
Nicholas Bogas how good will he be 🧐
Suter takes the last third line spot. Stenberg to Springfield. Hopefully Dube doesn’t make the team out of camp. Walker and Berggren as you’re two extra Forwards
Biggest killer in hockey is paying too much for average talent and overpaying for overrated talent.
Kyrou enters the witness protection program during the playoffs.
