We were almost never at full strength. I’m positive Miller was nursin go an injury since training camp. If it wasn’t for the Drury stigma and their last 18 months (which isn’t unfair to judge) this team would be given some more respect

11. I can tell whats going on. Trocheck was good as gone at the deadline, didnt move him, but still got great value for him in what is a floundering FA market. Fixes our problem of having no depth at RHD and LHD with the petterson trade. We bring in another prospect who strengthens our next wave of players (Laba is 3C as he was last year). Also, the deal for korpy is meant as competition for our young goalie Dylan Garand, whos been in the AHL. Basically just looking to give him a reason to fight for the job instead of just assuming the job. Sure, drury ain't that good, but there is some methods behind his madness.

12. This Ranger team is a lot more talented than last year now (not tough to do). With a weak metro we always got a shot. Also bringing in Durzi and Pettersson instantly helps our bad d core. I think the Rangers are in a better spot now than they were 18 months ago. If Laf and Gabe can keep their chemistry I think we can be ok

15. Idiot on left doesn't know the NY team, Rangers needed better puck moving D, they got them. Cole is a great prospect, Durzi is a solid 2nd pair guy and will be solid with Petterson. They needed a better back up in case Igor gets hurt, Quick didn't hold up with the added workload. Big upgrade to the d, and solidified their back up

17. For us Ranger fans, Noah Laba is our 3C. Our top 6 is Zibanejad, Lafraniere Perrault. Miller,Cuylle, Dorofeyev. Where does Trocheck fit. He doesnt. Getting a top 4 defenseman and a top prospect is much better than i thought Drury would manage. He's still an idiot.

22. You guys are bugging and are extremely Toronto biased. The rangers defense got significantly better (adding Smits, durzi and Petterson and only lost Borgen), the center depth got slightly worse but the center depth is still good with Mika, JT and Laba. Not sure if they’ll make the playoffs but they have a much better chance with an improved blueline.

25. What’s the confusion? Drury is trying to make the team younger and better. Two good young prospects in Greentree and Beaudoin, a nearly 40 goal scorer in Dorofeyev, and a somewhat improved blueline. It’s looking like a great rebuild/retool. Trocheck and Panarin are good players, but they’re both aging. Dorofeyev is 25…If Zibanejad, Lafreniere, and Miller can play up to expectations, and Greentree and Beaudoin can be good top six players, this will be a dangerous team.
