The writing on the wall…the Stankoven trade. Dallas has been way too easy of an out in the playoffs. I know that they went three rounds in 3 of the past 4 years, but Edmonton handled them. Even in their playoff series wins, it's not like they steamrolled anyone. The Stars beat the Avs last year WITHOUT Robertson. Here are my issues:
Robertson=easy to play against, one-dimensional player…get something for him (maybe Knies)
Duchene=no idea why they extended him. Again, one-dimensional player, easy to play against
Oettinger=amazing against Calgary FOUR years ago…average since
This team is too one-dimensional. In my opinion, and I know Rantanen, Duchene, and unfortunately now Oettinger have NMCs, but trade Robertson, improve our defense, goaltending, make us harder to play against.
Good trade, Lybushkin was not moveable by himself and I personally envisioned Bourqe being the bait to move him.

If Dallas signs Hyry for the $850,000 league minimum, that leaves them with only $12,514,667 to sign Robertson with only 21 roster spots filled. In other words, only 12 forwards and Tyler Seguin would be one of those forwards. More moves are coming….
