1. Funnily enough, doing a proper, and commiting, to a rebuild might be the best way for Columbus to actually get some long term success.

   I won't pretend to have a good understanding of their prospect pool, but with the current market, selling on Werensky and Marchenko might be a great kick start and Fantilli could become their Suzuki in 4-5 years.

2. Marty needs to shift his mind set from 🐱 hockey to grit n hit hockey. Marty hates xjacki won’t play him. Habs can draft physical guys but if Marty wants fast skaters dipsy doodle Harlem globetrotters hockey we ain’t going anywhere. And Marty needs to stop being so hard headed hold the line to not upset my players. In playoffs Marty wouldn’t change his line up to counter act Carolina. Never brought in fresh legs. Never shook up lines to match Carolina. Marty has a lot to learn. For me Marty should go to Laval he’s great developing kids and big club hires a super experienced tactical coach. Vineault etc

15. I was surprised that the Habs were not able to unload some of their not wanted pieces in return for draft picks, let alone trading player for player (plus picks) or signing UFAs. As we stand, today is the 29th and there are two days until Free Agent signing day

16. Marchenko seems like a sweetie pie off the ice and an absolute beast on the ice with skill that would complement Demidov, which is exactly the perfect fit for our team.

17. If they are going after Marchenko, they have to wait until July 1st for a trade and sign. 2 days to go, relax.
