Yea as a predators fan I knew we were going to select Cullen or Lawrence at 10 but Thomas at 31 I saw this guys tape looks nasty so elusive and sneaky also that guy in the third round nice chip to add. Obviously San Jose won the draft. But two teams i have the were good is Carolina and Chicago. Now let’s be real Chicago sold that draft pick for Bryam could have got Reid! Or verhoff! But they got rooberock and viellunuve nice and Carolina got two nice sweeds in the second round Carolina always good at trading there first round pick for two second and drafting later there known for drafting late round gems or good picks not to bad!

15. I’m glad Canadian teams avoided Reid. He’s a prime candidate to bolt to the US and leave an up and coming team with a huge problem. Verhoff has the size, but he could be the next Gudbranson. I wanted Stenberg, Malhotra or Carels for Vancouver, so they did well. Their late 1st looks like a steal.

16. quacks moving up to grab klepov is a steal. klepov should have gone top 10. a lot of teams will regret passing on klepov.

21. If you draft two brothers you dont gotta worry about trading for one in the future or have to trade them to the team the other brother is on so I think taking plante made sense in that aspect as well

30. Pantelas and Steiner were the players I started eyeing in the 3rd round, and they just kept falling, and my team just kept passing on them — they’re going to be great depth players

31. As a Sabres and Rangers fan (NY homer)… this is a classic case of GM's trying to be the smartest one in the room. They "know better". Daxon will be stuck in Rochester in 2 years while both Keaton and Chase are tearing it up in the NHL. It doesn't take a GENIUS to see Chase and Keaton are both the consensus for a reason. Sabres fans in that building were dead silent when they read that pick. The official NHL channel piped in crowd noise 😂. Almost feels like the Sabres and Rangers were both told by a certain someone that Seattle needed Reid after Robo embarrassed them and SJ needed Keaton so Celebrini can start his journey toward "replacing" Sid as the new face of the league. It all just feels fishy af. Nobody takes DAXON RUDOLPH over Keaton or Chase 😂.

34. Penguins getting Pierce Mbuyi in the third round was a huge steal for us. I am biased though as a Yinzer, lol.

35. It's so hard to say, Smits stats didn't look as good, but he played against tougher competition than Verhoeff, and MUCH tougher than Reid and Carels. So how the heck do you decide who is a better player, like, how good would Smits have looked in Canadian Junior hockey?

39. Kings had a good draft. Elton Hermansson from Sweden. Great value at 19th overall. Second round pic Liam Lefebvre from the Chicoutimi Sagueneens at 46th.
    The QMJHL seems to be undervalued. 6ft 4” scorer Maddox Dagenais from Quebec Remparts at 16th by Blues.
    Yegor Shilov from Tigres de Victoriaville were selected at 43rd overall by Avalanche.

43. Not sure how Buffalo took Rudolph over Reid but what do I know? And what kind of a name is “Daxon” anyways? It sounds like someone with a lisp trying to say “Jackson”.

44. How can you genuinely talk about "steals" the day after the draft loll

45. The fact that Verhoeff was a GOALIE 6 years ago tells you that he's learning really fast to be a top 10 pick as a skater when he's only been playing on the blue line for half the time of anyone else around him in the draft.
