  1. I’m waiting for all of the Basement Mafia Experts, that never did more than public skating sessions to come out of hiding and tell us he doesn’t know what he’s talking about & it’s another wasted pick. Hughes, Williams & others, come on tell us the way it really is you butt wipes.

  2. I would not waste time basing your show on what Jo Smo thinks about a pick. The reality is drafting 17/18 year olds is a craps shoot. Let’s hope Sokolovskii turns into a shut down stud! He’s not playing in the NHL the next 2 years. It could be 5 years. If he turns into a stud when he’s 22, after 1 more year in OHL and 3 years playing college hockey at Maine, than we’ll be excited to proclaim what a pick!

  3. The Flyer are just shooting themselves in the foot by drafting projects and thinking they’re smarter than the consensus I got news for you, They’re not! By drafting projects they are guaranteeing that none of these prospects are going to have real trade value unless they actually hit it in the NHL because they have zero cachet. They were drafted much higher than they should’ve been drafted players like Luchanko , Nesbitt, and now this big defenseman. Contrast that with the stock pile of high picks and consensus players that San Jose is drafting if you’re a team looking to trade a superstar that wants out who are you gonna trade with the flyers or San Jose? It’s not even close. This is what the flyers don’t understand is that the value prospects is not necessarily that they make it hitting NHL is that they have the cachet that makes other teams want them before they even make it to the NHL.

  4. Charlie really is a rat. This dude talks bad about Maksim to appease the twitter fans and then kisses the feet of the people who actually know enough to hold him accountable. He goes wherever the wind takes him. He knows literally nothing about draft prospects and it shows. Dude is a typical Philly media bozo, run by Comcast, and takes the direction of his handlers very well. You don't get this kind of access to players and coaches unless you're greasing their wheels. Rat behavior

  5. I hated the pick but now that I had time to think it over, at 27 you were drafting a guy with a high bust rate either way so if this player becomes any sort of NHL player thats already a win given the drafting spot. Bottom 10 picks usually dont have a ceiling past a 3rd line Forward or 3rd pair D

  6. All the armchair liberal analytical GM’s who are “fans” don’t know what they’re talking about or how to build a hockey team. It’s frustrating reading their comments and hilarious at the same time
