  1. I only have seen Rudolph on the videos I've looked up as well as Zellweger. I only see offensive film & nothing on their defensive ability. I really do not care as much about their offense as I do their defense.

  2. Louis Crevier is a really underrated pick up. Real great defensively 6'8 stay at home defensive defenseman. The analytics isn't too kind to him because of a really bad Chicago team.
Olen Zellweger defensive analytics weren't too kind to him but some defense concerns of the past season but I don't think it's as bad as it seems. Playing with an Anaheim team who's awful defensively and now he's playing in a Lindy Ruff system in a new change of scenery with the great 2 way forwards we have and defenseman we have Zellweger can play more to his strengths with the Sabres!

And I'm not worried about Alex Tuch I'm telling you do not sleep on Noah Ostlund and Konsta Helenius!!! I really believe Jarmo has all the confidence those 2 will make a huge jump. I been singing their praise for a while

  3. crevier has graduated from prospect status.
    1. Rudolph
    2. Mrtka
    3. Helenius
    4. Ostlund
    5. Zellwinger
    Honorable mentions:
    Levi, Kleber, novikov, ziemer

  4. I trust the scouts more than random haters on the internet. They have been watching these guys alot more. Clearly there is something people dont see because chase reid dropped few spots. Daxon Rudolph seems like he loves buffalo.

  5. The other thing that Crevier can do, which even Chara couldn't do at that age is…skate. Watch his highlights. He's a smooth, easy skater. Can make quick turns. He can fire that howitzer he's got while skating into the puck at speed. I'm not saying Crevier will develop into a Chara, but I am saying that at Crevier's current age Chara was a stumble-bum.

  6. I believe in the Sabres scouts but it’s stating the obvious that they have preference to towards the W when it comes to CHL prospects. I’m totally fine with it, and this Rudolph pick just makes more and more sense. Savoie, Benson, Helenuis, Mrkta, and Rudolph, that’s 4 out of the 5 from the W. I think the Western Canadian conditions and play style pairs well with direction of the Sabres. S/O college hockey, it was going to take a few years but the McKenna’s and Veorhoffs are going to be pumped every year now. And then the Malhotras and Rudolph’s who would have previously never been eligible enter programs as high value players. Top NCAA 10 years ago had what 4 maybe 5 players who were drafted by teams? It’s 3x that now.
