Columbus Bluejackets selected Vitalii Abramov in the 3rd round of the NHL draft in Buffalo, New York. The Russian born forward played this past season for Gatineau Olympiques in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. The 5 foot 9 forward has put up some impressive numbers in his rookie season.
