The NHL Draft is tonight, and the Boston Bruins have the 23rd overall pick. Dominic Tiano joins me to discuss who the Bruins might take with that pick, whether they will move it, and we discuss the changes with the Providence Bruins.
We also discussed that Patrice Bergeron is a first-ballot Hall of Famer.

Moving Kelly to Providence makes perfect sense because he knows the system. To replace as an assistant I was thinking it would be great if they bring in Marc Savard. He's a former teammate of Sturm's which would help.

Great show! Loved hearing Dom's thoughts and I really do like your idea of Kelly coaching for the P-Bruins. Wonder if part of the continuing Providence blow up is that Merk and Lysell are not offered contracts and the B's move on. We shall see. Would love if Lin was available at 23, but unlikely.
Forget Kelly. Marc savard is the guy. Elite forward coach could teach those guys wonders. I feel like you can teach anybody to play D but offense should be the main priority.

I like the idea of Kelly as coach on the farm club. I don't follow Providence, but I know that they had a good regular season, then fumbled the ball in the playoffs. It may be credit to the other club, but it somehow doesn't smell right that they would falter.
If a Bruins goalie was going to the Hall of Fame, I would put Thomas ahead of Rask. Tim Thomas just blew me away when he was at his peak.
