2. I love the mini McDavid Interview. But I really want to hear what Draisaitl has to say about the hire. He's usually more brutally honest than Davo and I want to hear some of that German bluntness.

3. Honestly it might be a positive, we all might be over reacting. I watched the oilers press interview the other way and I he might be ok.

   Sure he might be rude at times but this team needs someone who will hold accountability, who can bring good strategy to the team

4. Setting aside the reported Babcock shenanigans, I did like what he was talking about with Bob, and having a defensive structure that keeps players fresh. We'll see how it goes in practice when the season starts.

5. I remember the Evander Kane signing ,we all labeled him a dick, until he started giving back to the community like he did. Hopefully Babcock can do the same .

6. The only real issues I have with Nurse, is when he has those buffoon-like moments, where he's off in no-man's land, and it costs a goal. Those don't happen every game, ofc, but they happen often enough to make it a legitimate concern.

   If Smith and Babcock think he's worth 1 more season to try and shake that out of him, what remains………. still wouldn't be worth $9.25M, but, it would be closer at least.

   Guy does play a lot of minutes, he is physical, and one thing I'll always give him major props for, is he will always stick up for a teammate when he's on the ice. Sometimes, maybe even too much, as he got in some penalty trouble on occasion because of it.

   Still, he's a 50/50 for me at this point. The new coaching staff working with him…….. I'm kinda inclined to see what they can do, Still, if he does move on, I'll wish the guy the best.

   I've said before, and will say again, I don't dislike Nurse, the person. He seems like a good community guy, great teammate. Wouldn't wish ill on him. 🍻

8. He was born in '63. He grew up in the 70s/80s. It came across in the presser. Hes not at all new school…clearly. I believe the narrative he can be a jerk. I also believe he could have been hard on people. Based on what I heard yesterday I think its worth a try. My main concern remains his age. I just hope he can stay awake and energized for 82 games.

21. Nurse needs to play with a heavy defensive team. He is mirror player not a play/pace setter. He kept trying to be like bouch but it's not his game.

44. After thinking about how 3 leadership players put their support behind Babcock I am warmed up to him.
    I don't belive leadership will throw the junior players under the bus. Drisital certainly is not going to abandon his countryman Josh Samanski if Babcok turns into a jerk.
