Sabres should move up to 2 and try and get Stenberg. Franchise changing player and cheap cap hit for 3 years.
For two weeks he did look like Bobby Orr then sometimes he decides to not shoot or skate pick up ice. He was great in playoffs vs Boston.

Slow clap for the Sabres GM. I'm a Leafs fan, but I have to be honest: Nice having Byram out of the division, but this was a royal pasting.
Kyle Davidson should be fired immediately for giving up the 4th overall and other goodies for a UFA dman whose agent is Darren Freaking Ferris. Seriously, all of Verhoeff, Carels, Reid, and Smits could conceivably be better than Byram before he makes any noticeable difference on the Hawks. Three of them already have NHL bodies, and the 4th will be one of the best skaters in the league.

With the EXTREMELY talented D men in this upcoming draft I'm confused as to why Chicago just did that. I think Reid and Carels have a higher ceiling than Byram and the Hawks would have had their pick of them. Jarmo cooked on this.

Im thinking sabres may pick reid at 4, or possibly even a center. They got a ton of centers, but not really a true #1 center. Thinking they could possibly revisit the thomas trade too
😂no doubt the sabres came on top but who is going to fill the void that Byrum provided as a skilled D man top 4, anyone,so you now have core 3. You're putting added pressure on Dahlin let alone Powers. Chicago can't wait on drafted D man to devop instead getting Byrum at his best years. Byram served him purpose for us. Nothing but well wishes for him. Happy for him. He will get his bag and slot he desires. Thank goodness Greenway is gone. To injured for us. He also served his purpose for us excellent PK guy.Great return for both.
Here In Chicago the story being told is that SJ is 100% taking Stenberg so that was a big reason to trade out. Sabres need to flip this pick for a top 6!
