In case there are some hopeful Edmonton Oilers fans watching this, my deepest sympathies. That your ownership would actually be that desperate to hire a guy that will tank this team so quickly. It’s OK. I’m gonna enjoy the show. imagine being a fan of a team while hoping that the new coach even makes it to fall camp.

This time, I agree with Mr. Button. Oilers haven't been a contender for 18 months now. What oilers need are 1. A decent Gm. 2. a real #1 goaltender. 3. Some D men. 4. a bottom 6 that isn't flyweight. A almost for sure a decent coach. I expect Bowman will grossly overpay to try to save his gig, and F this right up, yet again. Katz, try to to find someone else in Etown to own the team.

His Columbus fiasco aside, I'd like to know why anyone thinks he's such a great coach. What team of misfits or underdogs did he EVER coach that did something spectacular? When he coached successful teams, they were stacked to the gills. Edmonton is a train wreck and needs to be torn down because of bowman and ownerships incompetence
