3. Very good for St. Louis. They need a center. And they get a real good return for Kyrou

4. Breaking: the Boston Bruins trade pick #198 and prospect “Slow” Joe McGee for the 2038 19th round pick and a bag of doughnuts.

5. Armstrong wanted 3 pieces for Kyrou. A young impact NHL player, prospect and a 1st. He got it.

7. I don't care what my fellow blues fans say. Most of them don't know puck. Kyrou is very good and will score 60-70+ points this year. I will miss him. That said, very good return for him especially given the down year. They got a premium due to the long term on the contract.

9. This is an exceptional trade for the Blues. Everyone knows the blues cover stenberg the question is what would San Jose require to make the deal. I doubt Armstrong would give up all four first round picks but stenberg could be elite player so who knows. We’ll see soon enough

12. As a caps fan, I didn't particularly want to get rid of McMichael, we need more centers these days. But the caps haven't made a bad trade since they bought the dudes who used to make cap friendly. So I'm cautiously optimistic.

13. Good move for both teams. Kyrou needed a change of scenery and the Blues get a good package for a disgruntled player. This week has been fun so far right up to the draft.

14. Blues have Ivar’s brother Otto, who’s a good player himself. They want ivar. I’d bet they’re trying to move up with someone to get him. IMO.
