  1. Bouch has never slash a guy Turing into an injury and he’s never slashed Ryan once in his career. Evan Bouchard is the best offensive d man this season he had 95 points and leads the past 4 playoffs in points as a damn. You’re a hugeeeeeee bum buddy. You don’t hit high talent like that in an iihf wc game you dumb ass. Hes coming back from a concussion and now this especially in the first period out of no where when everyone was timid. You’re the dumbest guy in the internet today

  2. I think the oilers are cheap players who cry 😭 whenever someone taps them!.. BUT this was a cheap deliberate hit to the head (intent to injure) that was uncalled for and may i say it again CHEAP!!😅

  3. Trying to make sense of this logic 🤔 history of slashing = Brain injury potentially ending careers. Instead of being salty for the slash why not slash back ? Less harmful then this

  4. It was very unfortunate, but that should not have been called a penalty. Bouchard had a body position that made a direct hit to the body impossible without going through the head. It wasn't a pick. Hunched over with his head so low to the ice that it makes a hit to the body impossible without hitting the head first is exactly why the rulebook specifies, if the opponent puts himself in a bad position. Lindgren's shoulder did hit Bouchard's chest, but went through his head to get to the body and that's in the rulebook as an exception to Rule 48.

    (Straight from the Rulebook)
    (i) Whether the player attempted to hit squarely through the opponent’s body and the head was not "picked" as a result of poor timing, poor angle of approach, or unnecessary extension of the body upward or outward.

(ii) Whether the opponent put himself in a vulnerable position by assuming a posture that made head contact on an otherwise fullbody check unavoidable.

The head was not picked. Bouchard's body position made it impossible to hit the body without going through the head.

If you played full contact hockey, then you'd remember coach saying, "Stand UP to a hit" or "don't lead with your chin."

That's a beauty of an old school hit. The result was unfortunate and obviously difficult for some to watch.

  5. Every player at every level in every age group slashes. Lady bing winners slash. What's the price for tripping? Knee on knee. No players like that hit. Even the guy who threw it doesn't like it. He meant to put the hurt on him not batter his brain. Hopefully you keep this posted so I know you are being continually laughed at
