Robertson doesn't have an interest , or is needed , in Montreal. Another Knies deal rumour.

Hold on. They need a 2C and a top 6 physical winger. Robertson is not physical and he wants a raise. Knies and his contract are a better fit. Gosh, they've drafted a lot of small players eh

My target would be Vincent Desharnais. Unlike Xhekaj, he's playing PK minutes and he's a right shot. He won't compete with Reinbacher. Perfect for a 6 or 7 D.
I think everyone is sleeping on Kapanen. He was a 2nd line centre for the most part of the season, he fell off during the playoffs but to be fair it was against great teams, and his first experience in the playoffs. He’s still 22 years of age, so in that case our 2nd Left or Right winger is THE crucial spot to fill. Demidov is already assisting Kapanen well enough so why not adding a great left/right winger to increase the odds?!

Robertson is a great player, but taking him would be a PR nightmare. 16 Montreal police officers are currently being investigated for allegedly engaging in racist acts toward POC (like cutting locks of hair to keep them as trophies).
