NHL Draft Insider Drops MAJOR Sabres Predictions ๐Ÿ˜ณ

The NHL Draft is almost here โ€” and the future of the Buffalo Sabres may depend on what happens next.

D.A. is joined by Scott Wheeler of The Athletic, one of hockey’s most respected prospect evaluators, for a massive Sabres draft preview.

Among the topics:

๐Ÿ’ Will Buffalo trade Alex Tuch before the draft?

๐Ÿ’ After moving from #27 to #20, which prospects are suddenly in play?

๐Ÿ’ Could Russian prospect Ilya Morozov now realistically land in Buffalo?

๐Ÿ’ Will the Sabres move Bowen Byram this offseason?

๐Ÿ’ Can Devon Levi still become an elite NHL goalie?

๐Ÿ’ And has Zach Benson already exceeded expectations from his draft class?

Plus, Wheeler explains how the new front office differs from the old Kevyn Adams regime and what that means for Buffalo’s future.

This is a must-watch for any Sabres fan trying to understand what’s coming next.

  1. We need to get some things straight on Tuch. Itโ€™s a terrible look on Buffalo if he walks without them having at least offered market value. He was a perfect soldier on the worst franchise in hockey for 5 years while being hockeyโ€™s most underpaid player. And instead of sulking, heโ€™s a consummate team leader and ambassador for the city. And he isnโ€™t asking for overpayment. He just wants Kuempe money, which heโ€™s 100% worth. Honestly shame on the Buffalo fans who want to run him out over one bad series and shame on the Sabres for lowballing.

As for the draft, Sabres have 2 years to win a cup before Terry turns it over to Seth Appert. Iโ€™d be trading that pick for anything that can help now.

  2. I did not like the Kesselring trade at all, u give him and your 27 to move up 7 slots, thatโ€™s not going to move the needle. Then you are hearing byram wants out??? Now your down 2 defensemen, and you also tried unloading Radim, so I would think he wonโ€™t have the same loyalty to our team, as u would hope to. Not to promising to start for Jarmo. You bring in schenn, and Stanley for to much in my eyes also. But what do I know

  3. Yeah Buffalo is going to Rejuvenate get younger stronger more affordable & prepare to compete another playoff run they dont need tuch hes to much against the salary cap Buffalo Sabres hold pick #20 With a Bo byram trade Buffalo Sabres could trade #20 & bo Byram & move up as far number 10 there trying to Draft a #1 Centermen this is the Year Jarmo Keakolainen could make a statement he is notorious for Getting making deals & high profile players

  4. Let's see. So we let one defenseman go and from what I'm hearing it's not because he can't play defense but because Kesselring wanted to be a top 4 defenseman. Then we are angling at trading Byram one of our top 4 defenseman and make no mistake our offense is predicated on a good skating high IQ defense. So losing those two defensemen who in our organization can replace them ? Certainly not Stanley or Schenn will even be on this team next year. Mrtka isn't ready and after dangling him in a trade last year I'm sure he's sour on this organization. So we'd have to lose assets to gain a defense asset. No ?
