4. I dont understamd why pple need to talk down of Byram , hes said he wants to become a #1 dman not that he is one. , again he said he wants to become a #1 . Hes played just over 300 games and still "could" become a #1 down the road

5. Honestly, the Best and only Right answer of where to try and trade Byram to is Vancouver.

   Not only because he’s from the Vancouver area, but because the Canucks were forced to trade away their #1 defenseman in Quinn Hughes and are likely in a market for one and Byram may be the closest thing available to a replacement.

   Maybe they do a Jake DeBrusk straight up, or possibly Brock Boeser if we added Krebs or Greenway (though I’d hostly add both to get Greenway off the books and avoid having to overpay Krebs).

   I’m not sure what the return for him would be, or if we’d have to sweeten the put with assets since they’re in a rebuild to get something good back, but the Canucks would be where I started making my phone calls.

6. Totally agree about keeping him for one more year and having a rock solid plan to get a first line player back. No more drafting and prospects, it’s all about roster players now!

10. I would trade Byram, then just give Benson his money. If you sign Benson and Byram gone, the Salary is essentially a wash.

    That’ll allow Buffalo to pay Tuch $9.5M and leave $2.5M to sign Malenstein and Tanner. Then if we want to bring anyone else in of value, you trade Greenway and McLeod.

    As far as Krebs goes, they can just reject his Arbitration contract or agree and we’d have to clear more space.

    Better yet, maybe someone will Offer Sheet him knowing we can fit his contract.

11. Some Sabre's Announcers are used to spread rumors about the willingness of Sabre's players to go to other teams for better contracts. How would they know if other GM's are calling about Byram? I doubt that Jarmo would say that, and I doubt that other gm's would make a statement. What goes around comes around. So who would say Byram would move on? Someone that would gain something from that news. ie Byram's agent.

12. WR comp to Bo, this is old, but Peerless Price. Left Buffalo to be a #1 and didn't really workout to well. Good #2 but not really a #1 defenseman, at least not on a cup contender.

13. I wonder if some "Sabre's reporters" will latch on to rumors just to have something to talk about, with out questioning the truthfulness of the sources.

16. As far as Bryam, absolutely no. Dump him to the highest bidder. As far as the World Cup, if you are not scoring as much as possible, ESPECIALLY in the group stage, do you even want to be there??
