Yzerman is literally doing nothing. Toronto just got Raddysh, other teams are adding players. But, «we like our team,» apparently.
Honestly believe Yzerman will drag this out until trade deadline. Larkin will be a healthy scratch all year.
The Wings "must target this young star". Robertson? No? Pass.
We need to somehow offload some of these guys and get some high end prospects.
Larkin, Faulk and Cossa for Desnoyers, Iginla, Peterka and Semishiv
Have an understanding with Debrincat, trade him for a few first round picks or prospects. We sign him to lucrative contract next year.
Offload Compher for a 3rd or 4th round pick
Offer sheet Bourque and Robertson, or send some picks and a few prospects for them.

If you’re going to go for someone go for Knies from Toronto or the Utah prospects if not keep your picks and promote from with in.
With Larkin being traded making the playoffs is pretty much a pipe dream next year so start looking for the young Arbur X type or even Arbur himself at 5 or 6 on D. Montreal players even say they play ten feet tall with Arbur in the lineup. We need that but Yzerman don’t think so 😆 Arbur can smack the sht out of Scott Sabourne when he goes at Seider or Edvinsson again. The wings don’t have that because of step behind stevie.
The wings need to go find the next young Tom Wilson or Josh Anderson types that are looking to get their chance in the NHL so they can get their first 20 goal season and do not trade for a replacement for Larkin because they’re not going to be as good and will be compared to Larkin so just start kind of over and get on the Seider and Raymond timeline.
