Ilya Lyubishkin I’ve always been down on when he came aboard. I remember lapses in defense that lead to goals against, turnovers, bad coverage, slow puck movement , and rush chances created by his mistakes. 😞
Tyler Meyers I didn’t know was known as the “Chaos Giraffe”, I wanted to really like him paired up with Bichsel, first few games he played decent. Then came bad outlet passes, missed checks, turnovers, and involved in taking bad penalties. With the missed checks he looked like the tallest human pylon out there. 😞
Radek Faksa , agree it was odd bringing him back. However after his seemingly good stint with the Blues I was hoping for that resurgence with the Stars. I don’t think he was horrible but he wasn’t great. Yes maybe better to have found a younger faster player.
Overall this season however it may fall with or without Robertson, this team needs its identity as brought up in the prior podcast. Get Young, fast, and create chaos, like the Hurricanes or Canadians, or be a smash mouth gritty team. I don’t care which one just have an identity.

1 more season of Myers is fine, you have to fill his spot- and anything you get will be a downgrade, to save what 5-600k? Give him another month or two to gel and fit in, if by December he’s not working out, then move him for a late round pick.

You dont know what you are talking about Faksa wasnt traded to Dallas for "future considerations" he signed as a UFA and it wasnt just a little cheaper lol. Who is this guy? Faksa is a PK beast and 2m/y is a steal imo.
Completely disagree with you, defense was not one of Dallas’s problems. Matter of fact statistically they were one of the better teams.
Dallas was able to put together one line capable of scoring. The second line was usually average; they had nothing close to a third or fourth line that could even apply pressure much less score.
The biggest mistake was signing Rantanen, other than a good playoff series against Colorado last year, he has been less than average on offense and takes stupid emotional penalties. And please tell me what Jamie Benn has done in the last three years? His stats are horrible. Both need to go or next hear will be just another ho-hum disappointing year.
