The powers that be made the absurd decision to hire a narcissist lunatic to Coach the Team. Obviously, the players quit on the previous Coach but Yosemite Sam was a very poor choice. He embarrassed the Team, Franchise and the League…a thing he has made a habit of doing in the previous FUVE TEAMS he “Coached”. Indeed, he won a Cup with Tampa but they were the BEST Team in the League by far. Even then, he got into trouble and was fired. This little fool got fined $100k by the League and lost the Franchise their 2nd round Draft choice by ignoring a League mandated press conference after a game. He treats the media with absolute contempt and these fellows are just trying to do their jobs. IF McCrimmon believed Yosemite Sam would lead, inspire and motivate the players, he was mistaken. No one showed up for the last game and I blame it on the short little foul-mouthed idiot behind the bench. Will he be behind the bench next year or will another Team hire him? It could happen…6 GMs have offered him contracts so far.
