  1. Been checked out of the progrum for a while, but this interview made me miss it. Athlete to athlete reality in an interview is amazing, lack of corporate filter is invaluable. LET’S GO CANES!!!

  2. Am I the only one who notices, is Pat on purpose playing up the accent thing? I don’t get it I’ve heard him talk a lot and it’s never that pronounced or I’m just totally missing it

  3. Brind'amour is a class act as a former player and coach! Rod could still play today if he wanted too! Now that he is 55, He can move into a senior citizen neigborhood and get meals discounted! Good for him!

  4. Ngl you cant like that organization enough. Bottom up, top down, they've created their own brand of hockey culture in the sunbelt that is lively fun and very devoted. Beware of the Great Red Beast of the Southeast. They looked like they could have went a whole another series.

  5. CAROLINA STAND UP BABYā€¼ļø Hornets on the rise, Panthers and Charlotte FC made the playoffs, and them Canes done went and won the big onešŸ˜®ā€šŸ’Ø

    love me some Carolina SportsšŸ’™

  6. Build the statue. Its time. The man has officially earned spot on NC sports Mt. Rushmore. He every bit deserves to be hailed on the same level of a Dale Earnhardt, Coach K, or Roy Williams

  7. I was born a Ranger fan and went through hell when the Islanders were winning cups left and right in the early 80's. Finally got to see the Rangers slay the dragon in 1994. Fast forward to 2 years ago…I retired and moved to NC. On a whim, the wife and I went to game 1/round 1 last year when the Canes were hosting the Devils. The Canes won and the wife was hooked on hockey. We purchased a 1/4 season ticket package for this year. Well, what do you know, we were there for the entire ride, all the way to the Stanley Cup !! I will say, it was a pleasure to watch a team than consistently out shot their opponents and consistently won the small battles game after game. That spilled into the playoffs and the team was pretty much unstoppable. I'm looking forward to picking out the 2026/27 package and we will 100% be in attendance for the 1st home game to see them raise the banner. Oh, a cool note….we also went to the Alumni game where the '06 team played the NC State Icepack and we also saw and took pics with the Stanley Cup a day or two later. Cool stuff for sure.

  8. Rod is awesome. Plain and simple. Great coach who leads by example and his team respects that. And that’s just as a coach… HOF material most definitely.
