  1. So the Avs sent Annunen there, and now Posch? Colorado > Nashville goalie pipeline. This seems good. Colorado needs some picks since I have a feeling they're going to have to trade a few guys + picks away to get some cap space back.

  2. As a Nashville fan, I feel this means that Haula is going to market. Solid bet for Colton to bounce back after having a bad shooting percentage this season.

  3. Ok, a couple of things. Colorado gets their own 3rd round pick back, could be useful if they are thinking of doing an offer sheet. Now to Jason Robertson, I don't think anybody is going to offer sheet him and here is why. I think the Stars would match up to 12. If someone signs him to an offer of 11.6 or more, then they would have to give the Stars 4 1st round draft picks if Stars choose not to match. No, team would pay that for Robo, especially when you could get him for less via trade. I don't think he sign anywhere for less than 12. Current asking price is 14. Bourque maybe more of an offer sheet worry than Robo for the Stars. But I agree the Stars are.going to be busy between now and the 1st. Desperately need to clear cap space. Bush, Steel, Faksa could all go. They could trade Robo. Do they get Seguin to wave? Do they dare trade Harley? Does Nill pull a rabbit of his hat, and stun us all?

  4. Nashville is going to have a much different looking team in a couple years. Next year they have 9 RFA's and 3 UFA's including O'Reilly and Colton. Most of the RFA's barely played this year. There will only be one more year on the Stamkos contract, one more on Josi and two more on Marchessault. All 3 of them will be 38 when their contracts expire. They only have 3 guys signed for longer contracts, Forsberg, Skjei and Saros. They have 23M this year in cap space, next year they will have almost 60M. Thats a roster ripe for major turnover.

  5. Makes sense for Colorado, him and Nuke have kind of been clogging up the depth chart without producing points commiserate to their cap occupancy. For once Colorado has a decent forward prospect pool with Brindley, Hughes, and even Bradley and Makar making waves in the AHL. Brindley especially is primed for a full season slot, I just expected him to take it from Kiviranta and not Colton. If Colorado moves Nichushkin, that's their flag going up that they are aiming for a shoot-first, scoring mid-sixer.

  6. Feels like a weird move for the Avs. I'm sure the 4 mil in cap space is going to be useful, but even still. I'd think they'd be trading for players, not draft picks and prospects. Maybe just a setup move for a different trade?
